The College therefore is strategically positioned to bridge theory and practice. Our academic programmes are structured to integrate design creativity, scientific inquiry, and cutting-edge geospatial technologies, ensuring that our graduates are well equipped to shape resilient cities, inclusive communities, and sustainable environments.

Dr. D. O. Adeoye is a seasoned Architect and academic with over 26 years of professional, teaching, and mentoring experience. She holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Architecture from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, and M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from the University of Ibadan. She is currently an Associate Professor (Reader) of Architecture.
Her academic career spans undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in housing, building materials and construction, architectural theory, behavioural architecture, research methods, and contemporary architectural issues. She has held key academic leadership roles, including Examination Officer and Acting Head of the Department of Architecture at LAUTECH, contributing significantly to academic and research development.
Dr. Adeoye has supervised more than 100 undergraduate, 15 master's and 4 Ph.D students and has been involved in national and international research projects, with proposals attracting internal and external funding. Her research focuses on informal housing, gender dynamics, and housing for the urban poor, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 11.
She has presented papers at local and international conferences in Ghana, UAE, Italy, and South Africa. She has served as a reviewer for reputable national and international journals. She has also authored and co-edited scholarly publications, assessed academic promotions, and served as an external examiner to institutions within and outside Nigeria. She collaborates with researchers from other institutions in countries such as South Africa, the Gambia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
