Dean

College of Science and Computing

Welcome Address

We believe that our creator endowed every person with potential. This potential must be manifested to its fullest regardless of child's background, gender, and locality. Knowledge is light. Knowledge through formal and informal education illuminates the mind, gives freedom direction, wisdom, distinguishes and dominion. Hence, we believe every child can learn, every child must learn.

Moreover, to meet up the challenges of the 21st century, we intended to develop entrepreneurial skills in our students, hence, we adapted into the curriculum of the college programmes, the Jewish phenomenon: "Everyone must have a trade". For this reasons, we admonish and teach every student with all wisdom, so that every student realizes his/her full potential(s) and be a blessing to his/her generation. Developing and training each mind to critically and creatively thinking globally in a local environment.

The Student handbook will be made available both electronically and hard copy. The handbook contains basic information, policies (what the college stands for) and regulations that governs both the stakeholders and the students of this institution. The college is established with a purpose of producing students that with moral discipline maximize their potential, contribute to their nation development and compete favourably with their counterpart anywhere in the world.

I therefore use this medium to welcome you all to College of Science and Computing of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho.
